Hello friends. Not all of us are lucky enough to have people around us that share the same passion as we do. It is even more rare to find an individual that has the ability to put words to emotions we have felt and make those words feel as if they came from your own mouth. Luckily I am blessed with at least one such person. She is an amazing poet and has a way with words that draws you in, educates, and often resonates with the soul. I am dedicating post to her. She is my one of my editors and a very dear friend. She weilds the red-editors pen with the same dexterity she has with her word-smithing hammer. Her work never ceases to move something in me and now to move you, my dear friends, I have acquired permission to publish one of her works. She didn't even have a name for it till 5 minutes ago - thats how fresh it is.  Read it below. It's truly something. Thank you my friend. You help me find the light.

Beauty and the Scarlet

When theres nothing left to say,

Do you keep on trying,

Do you go above and beyond 

That who does nought but whining?

Do you let go, be free, be me

And sail away on seas.

Or do you stand fast and hope youll last, and yet maybe walk home crying.

Here's what I say to you, to him.

My stance will never change.

You can love me hard and pray all that hard and still continue whining.

I dont do tests or plays or commands,

Im not your seadog pirate.

When it comes down to it,

I'll leave you to it
Because I'm the Beauty and the Starlet
